RHZ1 (AS) TO OL 2OL cable design

• MEDIUM VOLTAGE: 6/10 kV, 8.7/15 kV, 12/20 kV, and 18/30 kV.
• Conductor: Aluminum or copper conductor, class 2, according to UNE-EN 60228 and IEC 60228. Optionally, with longitudinal sealing (type -2OL cables).
• Internal semiconducting shield: Semiconductor material.
• Internal semiconducting shield: Thermosetting semiconducting material applied to the conductor.
• Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene type XLPE according to IEC 60502-2, and type DIX3, in a dry atmosphere catenary, using a triple extrusion process.
• External semiconducting shield: Semiconductor material applied over the insulation. Peelable.
• Metallic shield: Copper wire crown and copper counter-coil, with a minimum cross-section of 16 mm2.
• Longitudinal sealing: Hygroscopic tape completely covering the shield (type -OL and -2OL cables).
• Additional layer: Additional layer of flame-resistant, halogen-free polyolefin.
• Outer sheath: Flame-resistant polyolefin type ST7 according to IEC 60502-2 and type DMZ2 according to HD 620-1, halogen-free, red with two green stripes.
• Other colors upon request.

Thermal characteristics

• Maximum conductor temperature: 90°C.
• Maximum short-circuit temperature: 250°C (maximum 5 s).
• Minimum operating temperature: -15°C

• Flame retardant: according to UNE-EN 60332-1 / IEC 60332-1.
• Fire retardant: according to EN 50399.
• Halogen-free: according to UNE-EN 60754-1 / IEC 60754-1.
• Low smoke emission according to UNE-EN 61034: Luminous transmittance > 60%.
• Low corrosive gas emission according to UNE-EN 60754-2 / ​​IEC 60754-2.
• Reaction to fire CPR, Cca -s1b, d2, a1 according to EN 50575.
