APPLICATIONS AND USES

Medium-voltage primary and distribution circuits for industrial, commercial, and power generating plants, supplying transformers, motors, and equipment.
Preferably used in urban networks.
EATs are suitable for applications where greater flexibility than XATs is required.

OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS

Operating voltage: 5 kV, 8 kV, 15 kV, 25 kV, and 35 kV.
Maximum operating temperature: 90°C.
Emergency overload temperature: 130°C. Short-circuit temperature: 250°C.

Features:

Good tensile strength.
High impact and abrasion resistance.
Excellent resistance to sunlight and weathering.
Extremely high resistance to moisture, ozone, acids, alkalis, and other chemicals at normal temperatures.
Low dielectric constant, low loss factor, and high insulation resistance.
The sheath is flame-retardant.
