Characteristics of the X-VOLT HEPRZ1 (AS) AL cable
MEDIUM VOLTAGE: 12/20 kV and 18/30 kV.
Reference standard: UNE-HD 620-9E (type 9E-5) / NI 56.43.01
CPR Construction Product Regulation: Cca – s1b, d2, a1
Thermal characteristics:
Maximum conductor temperature: 105°C.
Maximum short-circuit temperature: 250°C (maximum 5 s).
Minimum operating temperature: -30°C
Screen: Internal semiconducting thermosetting semiconductor material applied to the conductor.
Insulation: High modulus ethylene propylene (HEPR), DIH-2 according to HD 620-1, cross-linked in a dry atmosphere catenary, using a triple extrusion process.
External semiconducting screen: Semiconducting material applied to the insulation. Peelable.
Metallic shield: Copper wire crown and copper counter-coil, with a minimum cross-section of 16 mm2.
Separator: Polyester tape.
Optional: Replace with water-blocking tape (type -OL cables).
(Additional layer): (Optional, depending on configurations).
Outer sheath: Flame-resistant, halogen-free polyolefin, type DMZ2 according to HD 620-1. Red with two green stripes.

Flame retardant: according to UNE-EN 60332-1 / IEC 60332-1.
Fire retardant: according to EN 50399.
Halogen-free: according to UNE-EN 60754-1 / IEC 60754-1.
Low smoke emission: according to UNE-EN 61034 / IEC 61034: Luminous transmittance > 60%.
Low corrosive gas emission according to UNE-EN 60754-2 / IEC 60754-2.
Reaction to fire: CPR, Cca – s1b, d2, a1 according to EN 50575.
