Underground Distribution Aluminum Cable (DRS)

OVERVIEW

Cable consisting of one, two or three copper or aluminium conductors, with individual high-density polyethylene (HDPE) insulation in black, joined together with a neutral conductor insulated with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) in white.

• 1- One, two, or three compactly stranded class B hard aluminum power conductors.
• 2- Black HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) insulation for the power conductors. Phase identification is achieved by surface marking on one of the phases and longitudinal grooves on the insulation surface of the other phases.
• 3- One compactly stranded class B hard aluminum neutral conductor.
• 4- White HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) insulation for the neutral conductor.

NRF-052-CFE. Underground cables for 600V with cross-linked or high-density polyethylene insulation.

MAIN APPLICATIONS

• These cables are used in underground and hybrid low-voltage electrical distribution systems.
• They can be installed in ducts or directly buried.
• In permanent or temporary electrical installations for general lighting.

FEATURES

• Maximum operating voltage: 600 V.
• Maximum operating temperature on the conductor: 75°C.
• The copper conductors are soft-tempered, and the aluminum conductors are hard-tempered (H19) with 1350 alloy.
• They are manufactured in gauges from 8.367 to 177.3 mm2 (8 AWG at 350 kcmil).
• The insulation on the phase conductors is black, making them weather-resistant.
