Description of Type MC Aluminum Alloy Cables

Nominal voltage U0/U: 600V
1. Conductor: Cable consisting of 3 or 4 AA-8030/AA-8000 aluminum alloy conductors, twisted together with a bare ground wire. Each conductor features color identification on the insulation.
2. Insulation: High-strength XHHW-2 type cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) rated for 600V.
3. Bonding tape: High-strength corrugated Mylar.
4. Armor: 500 series aluminum crimping.

Characteristics

1. Maximum operating temperature 90°C
2. Temporary overload 130°C
3. Short circuit resistance up to 67 ms (4 cycles) and maximum temperature of 250°C
4. Corrosion resistance
